We have HP Elitebooks 820 G3’s and we’ve just bought HP LT4120 Snapdragon X5 LTE, its showing in device managers under modems and networks adapters, but it’s not seeing the sim number, any suggestions? Have tried reinstalling and switching off Sophos virus software, but. Comay Venus Pro 3 is delivered in a small card box which contains SSD itself, brief user manual, and SATA cable. Content:

• udev.d - UDEV scripts for configure modem to provide QMI interface
• copy_firmware.sh - Script to flash new firmware to modem

Required dependencies:

• libqmi with patches for support new calls (currently it available inhttps://github.com/borovsky/libqmi/tree/pdc-service)
• fastboot - part of android tools. Used for flash fresh ROM to modem.

x5_initializer is an initializer for Qualcomm X5 LTE modems. This device is half-unconfigured afterstartup and require to flash fresh firmware and upload and select appropriate configuration.The copy_firmware.sh script do exactly that job: it flash fresh firmware and selects appropriateconfiguration.

Now you need the modem firmware. This can be obtained from a Windows install - alternatively it maybe possible to download from your vendor's site and extracted with wine. On my install, these filescould be found in a C:Program Files (x86)HP lt4120 Snapdragon X5 LTEImage directory.
